A fabulous opportunity to work for a leading UK insurer as a Commercial Sales Executive
Your role will be to help drive new business through identifying new sales opportunities, in a mix of an office environment and visiting clients at their premises.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prospect and sell general insurance products to target customers that are designed to meet their long-term needs.
- Collate, analyse, and evaluate relevant customer personal, business, and financial information to complete Fact Finds, provide information, and recommend products and services that meet their needs.
- Cross selling the full range of products including financial services, risk management services as well as the range of motor and personal insurances.
- Record and track contacts, prospects, and sales to maximise conversion ratio of leads to sales and provide a robust record of advice given and policy information.
- Handling of day-to-day enquiries, renewal preparation, and negotiating.
Candidate Specification
- Previous insurance experience is a distinct advantage and preferred. although not essential; a strong sales background is however essential.
- A full UK driving license is needed due to office location and visiting clients.
- Strong IT literacy and a good working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and relationships building abilities is key for this role.
- Must be comfortable working in a regulated environment.
- Have the ability to demonstrate drive, energy, enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to new and prospective clients.
