The Role

PCBA Test Engineer (9 month contract)

To drive our ambitious growth plans whilst maintaining our high standard of quality products we require a PCBA Test Engineer on a 9 month contract basis.

The PCBA Test Engineer will help support and strengthen our supply chain to transition over to new/additional partnerships with world class suppliers.

The PCBA Test Engineer will report into the Head of Manufacturing, but day to day supervision and guidance will come from the Senior Test Development Engineer.   The role involves maintaining and continually improving PCBA test equipment and fixtures, identifying & root-causing issues and putting effective counter-measures in place in a timely manner.  The Test Engineer will also be a key driver for the evaluation and sign-off of new boards.  This will involve liaising with both suppliers and our Supply Chain Team and encompassing regular supplier visits.

Knowledge of WATS or other test data analysis tools is desirable (but not essential) with training provided as required.  It would help to have some basic mechanical skills as the Test Engineer may also be required to support the production lines where necessary.
