The Role
Warehouse Administrator
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Logistics & Warehouse Administrator to join a small team. This primarily office-based role requires a hands-on approach, supporting warehouse operations and occasional delivery warehouse duties as needed. The successful candidate will have strong excel and systems knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the flexibility to assist across multiple areas of the business.
Administration & Warehouse duties
- Accurately process customer orders using excel/internal systems.
- Maintain and update stock and order records.
- Input, track and manage purchase orders and sales orders.
- Ensure data accuracy across systems and documentation.
- Generate reports and assist with inventory tracking.
- Liaising with warehouse operatives to fulfil orders and arrange transport.
Responsibilities
Administration & Systems

Warehouse Support
- Assist with receiving, checking and storing goods.
- Support picking, packing and dispatch of orders.
- Ensure warehouse operatives Goods In and Goods out are accurate
Logistics & Deliveries
- Support coordination of deliveries and shipments.
- Occasionally undertake hands on deliveries, when required.
- Liaise with Sales/Purchasing Dept, couriers and suppliers.
Candidate Specification
Customer & Internal Communication
- Communicate effectively with suppliers/customers regarding orders and delivery updates.
- Liaise with internal departments including sales and warehouse.
- Handle queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong IT – Microsoft Office; excel spread sheets, word, emails, etc. and knowledge of warehouse stock control systems
- Experience in order processing, logistics, or warehouse administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
- Flexible, hands-on attitude with willingness to support different areas.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred/required depending on role needs).
- Fork lift licence preferred but not essential.
Hours And Salary Package offered
- Monday – Friday ; 8.45am – 5.30pm (45mins lunch (unpaid)). However, flexible when extra work required.
- Salary – £27,750/annum
- 28 days holiday/annum (of which some days will need to be saved and taken over Christmas shutdown).
