The Role

 

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily administrative tasks, supporting office operations, and ensuring smooth communication within the organisation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong office experience and proficient computer skills to contribute to a professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Confident making outbound and incoming calls with professional phone manner
  • Organised and able to manage workload
  • Support with scheduling engineers visits and diaries
  • Liaise with customer sites regarding work visits
  • Performing data entry tasks such as order processing and shipping documents
  • Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and managing calendars
  • Handling correspondence via email and phone in a timely manner
  • Supporting other administrative staff with clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing

Candidate Specification

 

  • Experience
  • Proven office experience or administrative experience in a professional setting
  • Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP would be an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry purposes
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone and email with clients and colleagues

This position is office based with the option of either working 8.30am-4.30pm or 9am-5pm Monday-Friday for approx. 8 weeks paying £15.55 per hours to start with immediate effect.
