Ideal opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who wants to get out and about meeting potential clients
Responsibilities
- Plan, prospect, and sell general insurance products to target customers, designed to meet their long term needs.
- Collate, analyse, and evaluate relevant customer personal, business and financial information to complete Fact Finds, provide information and recommend products and services.
- Cross sell the full range of the company’s products, including financial services, risk management services and motor, personal insurances.
- Record and track contacts, prospects and sales to maximise conversion ratios of leads to sales
- Handle day to day enquiries, renewal preparation and negotiating.
- identifying new sales opportunities, in a mix of the office environment and visiting clients at their premises
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Candidate Specification
- Previous insurance experience is highly desirable but not essential
- PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Car owner/driver is essential
- Excellent relationship building abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A desire to sell and build lasting client relationships
- ‘Can do attitude’
- Self motivated
