The Role

Ideal opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who wants to get out and about meeting potential clients


  • Plan, prospect, and sell general insurance products to target customers, designed to meet their long term needs.
  • Collate, analyse, and evaluate relevant customer personal, business and financial information to complete Fact Finds, provide information and recommend products and services.
  • Cross sell the full range of the company’s products, including financial services, risk management services and motor, personal insurances.
  • Record and track contacts, prospects and sales to maximise conversion ratios of leads to sales
  • Handle day to day enquiries, renewal preparation and negotiating.
  • identifying new sales opportunities, in a mix of the office environment and visiting clients at their premises

25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Hours:  Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm



Candidate Specification

  • Previous insurance experience is highly desirable but not essential
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Car owner/driver is essential
  • Excellent relationship building abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A desire to sell and build lasting client relationships
  • ‘Can do attitude’
  • Self motivated
