The Role

A well respected company in Letchworth is currently recruiting for Manufacturing Operatives to work a ongoing night shift with possibility of going permanent in the future.

The shift pattern you will be required to work is nights 11pm-7am Monday-Wednesday, 11pm-6am Thursday and 10pm-7am Sunday.

The rate of pay is £16.48 an hour including paid breaks, with the option of overtime.

Responsibilities

You will initially be responsible for working at the end of a manufacturing line sliding heavy rolls of flooring into cages, you will be trained on the various aspects of the manufacturing process including under coat, top coat and mixing colours along with career development opportunities.

This is a physically demanding position, working as part of a team with exciting career development opportunities’ for candidates that have an aptitude to learn.

Candidate Specification

Full training is given so although it’s not essential that candidates have previous experience within this type of environment, it would be beneficial, however a desire to learn new skills and work as part of a team are valued beyond previous manufacturing experience.

You must enjoy a physically demanding position and have a level of fitness to move heavy rolls of flooring throughout the night shift.

Experience of working nights is preferred but not essential.
