The Role
The warehouse operative will take responsibility for managing the inbound and outbound operation processes and systems that keep the supply chain flowing effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Control the stock of shipping supplies.
- Processing orders and planning the dispatching of goods ensuring that the processes are completed as per the agreed KPI’s.
- Maintain warehouse admin function (Protean, Excel, Dispatcher, DPD, Outlook)
- Ensure that weekly audit of dispatch areas is completed.
- Liaise with Byox team, engineers and transport companies when required.
- Make sure inventories are accurate.
- Maintain ‘no goods on the floor’ policy.
- Maintain a daily stock check.
Key KPIs
- Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy as per the agreed standards.
- Ensure the spare parts and machine stock is stored as per the agreed LEAN standards.
- Ensure all stock issues, picking, goods receiving and other WH processes are completed by agreed deadlines.
- Ensure all courier shipments are dispatched as per the schedule.
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm (37.5 hours per week)

Candidate Specification
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- PC literate
- Ideally NVW Level 2 warehousing, but not essential
- Distinct advantage to have knowledge of lean principles
